Sonoma Arts Live is proud to announce auditions for their Teens ‘N Training (TNT) production of 13: A Coming-of-Age Musical. 13 is a hilarious musical about discovering that “cool” is sometimes where we least expect it. Geek, poser, jock, beauty queen, wannabe – these are the labels that can last a lifetime. Set in 1993, with an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown, 13 is a musical about fitting in – and standing out! Libby Oberlin directs her 6th show for TNT, providing opportunities for young people to immerse themselves in meaningful theater, while collaborating with local teens and professionals.

AUDITION INFORMATION

Actors ages 13-19 are invited to audition.

Auditions – Wednesday January 9 – 6:00 – 9:00 PM

Auditions take place at Sonoma Arts Live in the Backstage Theater of the Sonoma Community Center-276 East Napa Street, Sonoma CA.

Invited Callbacks – Thursday January 10 – 6:00 – 9:00 PM

Actors will be emailed sides and a song selection to prepare. Actors will be given 15/20 minute time slots and may be asked to cold read.

A Note about Casting:

Non-traditional casting will be considered.  Actors do not need to be 13 years of age, older teens encouraged to audition.
Non-singers and non-dancers are welcome!
